Global Health Security & Health Systems

AMR bacteria microscopy

Global Health Security (AMR)
AMR surveillance is a high-yield investment that enables detection of resistance trends and informs treatment guidelines and IPC. QASI supports countries to: prevent cross-sector spread; strengthen food/biomaterial safety; reduce outbreaks; build connected surveillance; promote rapid reporting; develop diagnostics and labs; train disease monitors; enable global emergency networks; and improve access to medical supplies.

We partner with governments, international groups and businesses to stop outbreaks before they happen, find threats early to save lives, and respond quickly and effectively.

Health systems hospital Africa

Health Systems Strengthening (HSS)
QASI advances workforce capacity, essential medicines/technologies, financing, service delivery, leadership/governance, information systems and research. In Uganda this includes NHIS, community health workers, facility upgrades and stronger HIS to support equitable, quality care.

We advocate for increased investment, support accreditation and quality improvement, strengthen HIS, and convene stakeholders to address system challenges.

Lab supply chain

Distributorship & Supply Chain
We deliver end-to-end lab logistics: supply planning and quantification, pre/post-market surveillance, facility handling assessments, equipment specifications/standards, optimization and coordination, regulation harmonization and verification/calibration guidance.
